INTIX offers 3 ways of managing your door sales on event day -
or, use any combination of all three!
- Tap-to-Pay on iPhone or Android phone: free, easy, uses minimal mobile data to run app
- Wisepad3 bluetooth reader: box office app on a phone or tablet + tap-to-pay device
- S700 Wi-Fi device: independent device running the app and taking payments
Your phone has a chip in it to make payments (say, for groceries at the supermarket) and this chip is then also used to receive Tap-To-Pay payments when selling tickets in INTIX's Box Office app.
You can also use iPads and tablets for box office door sales on event day, using Stripe's Wisepad3 bluetooth card reader to receive payment (as tablets do not have the payment chip in them).
Or, you can connect the Wisepad3 bluetooth reader to your phone and customers can tap or insert their card, phone, or smartwatch to the reader!
Setup is easy! Start with your phone or tablet:
- Turn on your Wisepad3 bluetooth reader
- Download the free INTIX Box Office app from the Apple or Google Play store to your phone or tablet
- Log in with your email address and password (or the credentials provided to you by the event organiser) > Select Organisation > Select Event
- Select CONNECT READER > Wisepad3 - The app will automatically detect the reader closest to you. Verify the serial number on the back of the reader, and press the Click To Connect button on the app.
You're ready to sell!
Select tickets from the app, then the Pay button and you will see the reader display the amount due.
The customer simply taps their phone, card, or smartwatch to the reader.
