Event Organisers choose to enable Resale for their event - to allow customers who are unable to attend to sell their tickets at face value. The Resale feature is only available at the discretion of the Event Organiser.
NOTE:
- Resale funds will go back to the original card of purchase. If you have received a forwarded ticket from a friend, and choose to resell it, the ticket funds are returned to the original purchaser. See FAQs at the bottom for more info.
- Original ticket fees (INTIX and transaction fee) are non-refundable. You will receive reimbursement for the ticket, but not the fees.
If you are a ticket holder and can no longer attend the event, and would like to put your ticket up for resale:
- Log in to your account > Select the order from which you want to sell a ticket
- Select "Ticket Resale" from the top menu
- Select the ticket you want to resell from the dropdown menu, click "Resell this ticket"
- Tick that you understand you will only get the ticket funds IF your ticket sells > "Confirm Resale Listing"
Congratulations! Your ticket is up for resale.(If you change your mind, you can cancel the resale by clicking "Cancel Resale" on the ticket.)
Selling FAQs:
Q: What if I change my mind or I can now attend the event?
A: You can remove your ticket from the resale pool by logging in to your INTIX account , clicking on that order, and selecting "cancel resale" under the one you have put out there for sale. If you are unable to cancel the resale, this means someone is in the process of purchasing it. You will need to purchase a new ticket if this happens, so you have to be very certain you want to resell when you put the ticket out for resale.
Q: What if I'm not the original purchaser?
A: If you have been given a ticket by someone, and choose to resell it from your account, please note that the funds must be returned to the original card of purchase. If you paid your friend privately for the ticket, you will have to arrange from them to get reimbursed once they receive the funds from the resale.
Q: I put my ticket up for resale, how do I know if it has been sold?
A: You can check the status of your tickets offered for resale by logging in to your INTIX account, and viewing your tickets.
You will be notified via email once your ticket has been purchased by another customer, and you will also receive a refund notification. Please note: funds may take 3 business days to appear in your bank account or credit card.
Q: Can I nominate a friend to purchase my unwanted ticket?
A: Sellers cannot nominate a preferred purchaser. Resale tickets go into a general ‘pool’ available for public purchase.
Q: Why can't I sell my tickets anywhere, like on Viagogo, eBay or Gumtree?
A: Your ticket has your name and date of birth on it, which means it is strictly non-transferable to another person. Any ticket sold outside the INTIX platform will be invalid for use as the name of the ticket holder will not match the INTIX Attendee List. Tickets resold, or offered for resale, in an unauthorised manner may result in all tickets in the order being cancelled without refund, and all ticket holders being refused entry to the venue.
Q: When do I get my money back?
A: Resales are not guaranteed and you will only get your money back if your ticket is purchased by another customer. Until they are resold, the tickets remain your property and no funds are owed to you. If your ticket gets purchased by another fan, we will refund the original ticket price (less booking fees) to the original credit card used for the initial purchase. Funds will appear in your bank account or credit card approximately 3 days after the ticket has been resold.
Q: What if my credit card has expired or been cancelled since the original purchase?
A: If your credit card has been cancelled or expired since you originally purchased the tickets you will receive an email asking you to contact INTIX Ticket Support. We will ask for your bank details and will arrange a manual refund into your bank account. This can take up to 2 weeks for the refund to be processed.
Q: Can I sell the tickets at a discount if I want to make sure they sell?
A: No. Tickets are only offered for resale at face value.
Q: Is there a guarantee my ticket will sell?
A: No. Especially for events that haven't sold out, there is never a guarantee that your ticket will sell. In the event that it doesn't, it will be returned to your account where you can use it, or forward it to a friend who would like to use it. Click here for help regarding ticket forwarding.
Important Information for Resale Ticket Sellers:
DO NOT sell via third-party sites such as Viagogo, Ticketmaster Resale, Tixel, Gumtree, Facebook or eBay.
Event Organisers have no obligation to honour tickets purchased via unauthorised resellers, and you may be refused entry at the event.
Anyone found to be ticket scalping or selling for more than face value will have their tickets cancelled without notice.
INTIX will continue to try and drive scalpers out of this industry and ensure our customers receive value for money and a ticket we will 100% guarantee is real.
If you can't attend, give another music lover a chance to enjoy the event without being ripped off, and keep your ticket karma at 100%.
