Test Mode allows you to make additional changes and check everything is how you would like it to be. It also allows you to add more advanced settings and options than what the initial wizard set up does.
Your Event will be in Test Mode automatically after it is created using the Event Wizard, until you set it to Live.
You can check your Event's status by logging in to the INTIX Management Dashboard and looking at your event listings.
The Gateway will either read 'Test' or 'Live', as shown below.
To switch an Event from Test to Live simply click on the word 'Test' and a pop up will appear. If you haven't completed setting up your Strip account you will see the following pop up and will need to complete the set up before going Live. This is to ensure we can process payments and that you receive the funds from ticket sales.
If you HAVEN'T set up your Stripe account click here to be taken to the Stripe sign up page. Or for more information about how to set up your Stripe account click here for our help article.
If you HAVE set up your Stripe account you will see the following pop up.
Clicking on 'Confirm' will set your Event Live.
Note: There is a 10 minute cache on this so we don't recommend publicising your event URL immediately. Just hold off for a few minutes :)
If your 'Announce Date' is now, or a date in the past, then your Event will now show on the INTIX app, website and your website through the API if you're using one.
If you're 'Announce Date' is in the future then your Event is ready to go and will show in these locations once the 'Announce Date' arrives.
Note: When you use the Announce Date option there is no cache when the Announce Date comes round.
Note: Even in Test, your Event page can be viewed by anyone who has access to the Event URL.
