Leaving your Event in Test allows you to make additional changes and check everything is how you would like it. It also allows you to add more advanced settings and options than what the initial wizard set up does. It also allows you to check over your ticketing experience for consumers before setting your event to Live.
IMPORTANT: Once an event is Live, you cannot return it to Test Mode.
Your Event will be in Test Mode after you have created it until you switch it to Live.
You can check your Event's status by logging in to the INTIX Management Dashboard and looking at your event listings.
The Gateway will either read 'Test' or 'Live', as shown below.
Testing a transaction with Test Card Details
Genuine card information cannot be used in test mode. Instead, use any of the following test card numbers, a valid expiration date in the future, and any random CVC number, to create a successful payment.
Test Card Number: 4242 4242 4242 4242
EXP: 02/25
CVC: 222
Note: Using the Test Card is the ONLY way to have the full consumer experience.
Switching your event to Live
After you have completed testing your event, you can erase all Test transactions and begin accepting payments by setting your even to live.
- Log in to your INTIX Management Dashboard
- Navigate to your Event List
- Click on the word 'Test' and a pop up will appear prompting you to confirm switching your event to Live
