Ticket Resale Fees & Settings

 INTIX's Official Ticket Resale facility gives customers who missed out on tickets to a sold out event the chance to buy tickets and customers who can no longer attend the opportunity to recoup their money.

INTIX Ticket Resale facilitates a safe transaction between buyers and sellers and is a part of our efforts to drive scalpers out of the industry and to cut down on scams which keeps your customers happy!

We suggest all Event Organisers requiring names for Ticket Validation as a minimum and always allowing Name Change and Ticket Resale so that tickets match customer ID's at an event, to cut down on scalping or the selling of fake tickets.

When Ticket Resale is enabled and an event is Sold Out, customers can use the resale function through their INTIX account:

While we strongly recommend using the Ticket Resale function for all sold-out events, if you would like to change it, follow the directions below. 

Turn Resale On/Off at an Event-Level

1. Log in to your INTIX Dashboard
2. Select the Organisation that is running the event you want to edit
   Note: If you are only connected to one organisation, you will only see one organisation
3. Select the Event you want to edit
   Note: If you are only authorised for one event you will only see one
4. Go through SET UP > EVENT INFORMATION > RESALE > EDIT
5. Toggle Ticket Resale OFF or ON, and edit the text areas which are displayed inside the Resale Facility
6. Press SAVE to save your changes

Turn Resale On/Off for individual Ticket Types

1. Log in to your INTIX Dashboard
2. Select the Organisation that is running the event you want to edit
   Note: If you are only connected to one organisation, you will only see one organisation
3. Select the Event you want to edit
   Note: If you are only authorised for one event you will only see one
4. Go through SET UP > TICKETS > Select the Ticket Type you want to control > Go to TICKET tab > EDIT
5. Toggle Ticket Resale OFF or ON for the specific ticket type
6. Press SAVE to save your changes

NOTE: You MUST turn Resale off at the Ticket Type level for any inventory you do not want to be allowed to be resold. We recommend you do this prior to your event selling out, as when an event sells out, Resale will be switched ON at the Event Level.

Ticket Resale Fees

When a ticket is resold the original ticket is cancelled and a new ticket is issued in the new owner's name. Because of this, there is a small admin fee from INTIX for this function (contact your account manager if you want to check what that fee is). Event Organisers can also put your own small fee on top. There is a small fee automatically added for you when an event sells out but you can edit this.

To change or remove a Ticket Resale Fee go to:

1. SET UP > TICKETS > Select the ticket type > TICKET > EDIT
2. Set your fee in the Ticket Resale Fee field which will be added to the INTIX admin fee charged to a customer that changes the name on their ticket. This amount will be paid out to you
3. Press SAVE to save your changes

IMPORTANT NOTE: Ticket Resale is automatically enabled for Sold Out events.
