Marketing Groups and Filters allow you to define targeted recipients for your campaigns and comms sent via INTIX.
Difference between Groups and Filters
Groups are specific groups of your customers, such as Staff Members, Sponsors, or Previous Ticket Holders. Members can be added to groups individually. If you would like to perform a bulk upload of a large list, such as importing your mailing list from another email platform, you can send this to your Account Manager or INTIX Support for manual uploading.
Specs: file must be a vetted list of contacts in csv. format with a minimum of first name, last name and email. We can upload additional fields that are collected in the ticket purchase process such as DOB and mobile but these are optional.
Filters are emails who will receive a Campaign. Filters allow you to filter your entire list of customers opted-in to receive emails to refine your targeting.
Note: It is necessary to first create a Group to be included in a Filter if you wish to send a campaign to customers who are not current/previous ticket holders.
To get started:
- Log in to your yourtri.be Dashbaord
- Go to CUSTOMERS > FILTERS or GROUPS and follow the info below
You may create a Filter based on the following criteria sets:
- Being a Ticketholder for a specific current or past event in your account
- Ticketholder Status (i.e. Pending, Pre-Approved, Active, Promoted, Cancelled)
- Customer belonging to a specific group (see above)
- Customer State / Territory / Province
Selecting a checkbox will filter your list to only members who match ANY of the selected criteria in that particular grouping. i.e. You may filter to ( Pending OR Pre-approved ) AND ( ACT OR NT OR VIC ) AND ( GROUP X ). All criteria will be matched, meaning your list will have only members of GROUP X, who have the status of PENDING or PRE-APPROVED, and also are in the selected states.
If you add no filter criteria (i.e. select no checkboxes), your list will contain your whole database of customers who are opted-in to receive emails from you.
In order to see the count of how large your filtered list is, select your filters and press SAVE to see an updated count. Press EDIT again to test different filter combinations.
TIP: You can keep your filtered lists very simple by creating filters with only one criterion selected for most campaigns.
