If you completed the event wizard before you knew the venue for your event or if the venue needed to added by INTIX and you now need to add it to your event then follow the steps below.
To change your event venue:
- Log in to your INTIX Account of the Management Console
- Select the event you want to edit
- Go to SET UP > EVENT INFORMATION > VENUE > EDIT
- Start typing your venue name (if you don't see it straight away try a different part of the name as it may exist, just slightly different to what you expected eg. The MCG vs The Melbourne Cricket Ground)
- Select your chosen venue
- Click 'Save'
If you don't see your venue in the list after trying a few variations on the name you can add it to the INTIX venue list:
- Log in to your INTIX Account of the Management Console, if you haven't already
- Select the event you want to edit
- Go to SET UP > EVENT INFORMATION
- At the bottom of the GENERAL tab you will see options - 'Edit', 'Make Event Private', 'Update Sub-Domain', 'Update Timezone' and 'Add New Venue'
- Click 'Add New Venue'
- Fill in all fields
Note: Longitude and Latitude are optional but will show in a Google Map search if you look for the venue. - Click 'Save'
Within 30 seconds the venue will be added to the INTIX venue list and you can follow the steps above to select the new venue for your event.
Your venue will now show on your ticket sales page as well as a Google Map!
