We're excited to support events, venues and more getting back to business, and have developed a contact tracing add-on for our ticketing platform to help customers get back to running events sooner.
You need to make sure the following steps are followed to allow for contact tracing:
- Ensure you are requesting purchaser email and phone. You can make these mandatory under SET UP > ATTENDEE OPTIONS
- Make sure you request names on tickets. You can do this under SET UP > TICKETS > Select Ticket Type > EDIT > TICKET > Verification must have Name as a minimum
- Add a waiver to your ticketing pages under SET UP > EVENT INFO > WAIVER. This is a set of T&Cs essentially and needs to include that you may provide ticketholder contact info to the government, where required for contact tracing, in line with privacy laws, and ticketholders must consent to this to access tickets
- Finally, you need to use the INTIX Scanner App to check-in attendees (remembering you can also issue ‘tickets’ for free events to use this feature) so that you have an accurate record of who attended
In the event that someone who attended an event did test positive, INTIX will help you to provide the relevant info to the correct government agencies.
